So the nice ladies at the Momxchange blog said all sorts of lovely things about me, which was too kind of them. You should check them out. Among other things, they are much more likely to notice things like shopping opportunities for mommies–as I’ve mentioned before, I am not a shopper.
I’ve also started contributing (as KatieS) to a new blog at CBS 6.  Theoretically, I’ll be contributing once or twice a week, along with 3 or 4 other moms. Of course, the very first time I posted, the entire blog came to a screeching halt and you could actually hear crickets singing. So I spent a little while wondering if it was something I said–you know, like if you’re with a group of people laughing about something, and then someone makes some over-the-line remark that just shuts everybody up. But then I decided that this was adolescent and insecure of me, and that surely these other moms have busy lives and all sorts of other things to think about. So I just posted again.
Finally, the next time you would like to occupy your kids for just a couple of minutes, here’s 4 minutes of a dog and a deer playing together. It’s been on some tv shows, but all I ever watch is Netflix, pbs kids, and Hulu, so it was new to me.
Okay, I’m going to do my best to pull together a weekend post while packing and fretting for our trip. Lucky for me, a lot of it’s covered in the Easter events, so hopefully it won’t be too tough.
